PERFORMING ART CENTRE
The S-Curve
Wangsa Maju, Kuala Lumpur
A 2500 sq.m. Performing Art Centre located at Wangsa Maju Site A of Kuala Lumpur. Design brief : A place to relax, to make friends, experience, to get invlved, to share, and more. This building provide the space for arts and skills that to be presented in front of public audiences. This PAC will enhance the experience of users by its cutting edge spatial design besides cutting edge technology. an awareness of safety issues related to post-pandemic period design planning possibly an advantage to the design.

URBAN INTERVENTION
Kuala Terengganu
Urban folly is a structure or space to reflect and response to the cultural needs of the site and stimulate user’s curiousity on the backstory of the design. The design proposal is to provide an interactive community space with the intention to raise awareness of coexist among environment, landscape and man-made structures. This urban folly is called COEXIST; an urban folly which integrates and compliment with surrounding contexts to create better space.

VISITOR CENTRE

Kuala Terengganu
A 2300 sq.m. Mengkuang handicraft visitor centre located at Shahbandar Jetty area of Kuala Terengganu. Having a great view facing the South China Sea. The visitor centre serves a number of different visitors including those interested in waterfront activities, educational visits supporting heritage and tourism, and the visiting public, both local people & tourists.

YOUTH CENTRE
Taman Tun Dr Ismail, KL
The 2-storey street sport youth centre is located in a 20193 sq.m site with a total built up area of 990sq.m. The main objective is to enable the youth to express themselves freely in a secured environment and to have the sense of belonging among the peer ranged from 10 to 25 years old.

SITE OFFICE
Taman Tun Dr Ismail, KL
This temporary architect site office is proposed to be located in a construction site of a youth centre project in Taman Tun Dr Ismail. It consists of multiple function space for 3 persons to improve the site organization, site hygiene and site safety. Inspired by the vigour and spirit of youth, this entire office design is derived from street sports.

TOUCHSTONE
CONNECT
Wangsa Maju, Kuala Lumpur
a touch stone project intentionally to search for design ideas drawn from the site forces, potentials shall be carried out individually. Touchstone approach is the need to see the importance of site and placement of the new building. Student is required to “express” some design insights in making an object/model at a 200mm x 200mm base with a write-up of it, as a way of studying the site forces, leading to the design possibilities - Touchstone approach.

Wangsa Maju is a township & a constituency located in Kuala Lumpur (KL), Malaysia. It is surrounded by Setapak, Setiawangsa & Gombak district in Selangor. It one of the earliest and largest developed township within the KL city suburban area. It has been developed into a major residential area to accommodate the students of the nearby university college, TARUC or MIA

SITE ANALYSIS (KUALA TERENGGANU)
Shahbandar Jetty area,
Kuala Terengganu
Kuala Terengganu is the administrative and royal capital of Terengganu. It is strategically located at the mouth of the Terengganu River. It is located on the east Coast of Peninsular Malaysia, facing the South China Sea. The inhabitants are predominantly Muslim Malays engaged in traditional crafts, fishing and paddy farming. It receives cultural influences from its neighbours in the north: Kelantan and Thailand.

SITE ANALYSIS (TAMAN TUN DR. ISMAIL)

TTDI old rubber estate land located in the constituency of Segambut. The development plan began in 1973 with the merge of developers UDA-Seapark Sdn. Bhd. and S.E.A. Housing Corp. Sdn. Bhd. TTDI was considered rural. The construction began in 1974.

SITE ANALYSIS
(TANJUNG BUNGAH)

virtual site visit. The chosen site is an empty lot in a residential neighbourhood along jalan tingkat laut in tanjung bungah. It is located near to a few famous landmarks around the area such as pantai tanjung bungah, copthorne orchid hotel, dalat international school and others.

PRECEDENT STUDY (FRANCE)
Conservatory of Montpellier
Montpellier, Boutonnet district, France
Conceived as a musical village where people can dance and sing on the rooftops, the Music Conservatory of Montpellier opens up to the city as a new cultural center rooted in a haven of greenery. The Music Conservatory of Montpellier is located in the heart of the city, in the Boutonnet district. The building complex seeks to define an urban composition design that integrates generously dimensioned public spaces and two complementing housing projects. It is located on the former site of the Grasset Maternity Hospital, whose only entrance hall has been preserved within compliance with its architectural style.

PRECEDENT STUDY (JAPAN)
Librio Yukuhashi Library
Omachi, Japan
a 4-storey multi-purpose complex located in Omachi, Japan and designed by Mikami Architects in 2020. This 2150sq.m. library is positioned along the bank of the Nagasa River on the boundary between 2 former villages (Gyōji & Ōhashi). The building intends to merge, repair, preserve the townscape of the two former village areas. Thus, the upper and lower levels were purposefully twisted to face the Former Gyōji and Ōhashi Villages, respectively
